08 November - Health - Today is the World Radiography Day
In today’s show, we heard from Ms Mable Kekana - Chairperson for the Professional Board for Radiography and Clinical Technology. Today is the World Radiography Day, which commemorates the discovery of X-rays by Professor Wilhelm Roentgen. The aim of World Radiography Day is to raise awareness about the profession, stimulate interest in radiography as a career and also address the shortage of Radiographers in South Africa. Miss Kekana explained more. For more information go to www.hpcsa.co.za or contact their offices on (012) 338 9300.
