City of Cape Town’s 2010 Green Goal programme wins award
We closed off the show with an interview with Lorraine Gerrans – City of Cape Town’s 2010 Green Goal Manager. The Green Goal programme aims to ease negative environmental impacts from hosting of the 2010 FIFA World Cup and leave a positive environmental legacy. They have two campaigns currently running under this programme – the 2010 Fuel Efficiency Campaign and the 2010 Drink Tap Water Campaign. The programme already won the 2010 Impumelelo Sustainability Award Lorraine explained more about the progress. For more information go to www.capetown.gov.za
