08 July - Labour - Mr Brown talks about the Employment Equity Act
In today's show we were joined on the line by Mr Roger Brown – an attorney at Labour protect. We were talking about Employment Equity. The Employment Equity Act allows the promotion of equal opportunity and fair treatment in employment through the elimination of unfair discrimination and by implementing affirmative action methods in order to allow equal opportunity but what happens when a candidate is over looked because of the colour of their skin isn’t that unfair discrimination, well my expert Mr Brown explained more.
