02 March - Human Rights - CHAIN giving voice to children affected and infected by HIV/AIDS
In today’s show, we were joined on the line by Menaka Jayakody – from the Children's HIV and AIDS Network or CHAIN. CHAIN is a subsidiary of NACOSA that focuses on building the capacity of organisations working with children affected and infected by HIV and AIDS. The project aims to provide children with their own voice, promoting and supporting child-focused HIV and AIDS service development and delivery. Ms Jayakody explained more. If you would like to find out more about Children's HIV and AIDS Network contact NACOSA offices on (021) 461 7348 or visit www.nacosa.org.za alternatively send an email to chain@nacosa.org.za
