27 November - Arts, Culture & Environment - Strengths and Convictions opens at the Iziko South African National Gallery
In today’s show, we played a feature produced by Busi Mtabane on the opening of Strengths and Convictions: The lives and times of South Africa’s Nobel Peace Prize laureates, Albert Luthuli, Desmond Tutu, F.W. de Klerk, Nelson Mandela at the Iziko South African National Gallery. The exhibition includes unique works by artists like Feni Dumile, Gerard Sekoto, William Kentridge, Marlene Dumas, Willie Bester, Araminta de Clermont and Sam Nhlengethwa.
