This is a condition that causes pain in the muscles, joints, ligaments and tendons. The pain occurs in areas called tender points. Common tender points are the front of the knees, the elbows, the hip joints and around the neck. It is said that Fibromyalgia affects up to 5% of the population, including children. Sharon explained more about the possible causes and the available treatment. On Thursday the 20th of August is the Fibromyalgia Day which aims to raise more awareness about this condition.
