Anex CDW makes a submission to the South Africa Law Reform Commission
We closed off the show with an interview with Julayga Alfred – Director for the Activists networking against the exploitation of child domestic workers or Anex CDW. This is an organization that focuses on the eradication of the exploitation of children who are involved in cheap labour or domestic trafficking from rural areas to urban areas. Recently Anex CDW authored a submission to the South Africa Law Reform Commission in regards to the publication of the Prevention and Combating of Trafficking in Persons Bill, a bill that incorporates the Children’s Act of 2005 as well as the Sexual Offences Act of 2007. Julayga explained more about the submission. For more information contact their offices on (021) 683 5520 or visit www.anexcdw.org.za
