26 August - Gender - Department of Defence Gender Conference
In today's show we joined on the line by Major General Ntsiki Memela-Motumi – Chief Director Transformation Management at the Department of Defence. We were talking about the annual Department of Defence Gender Conference happening from today to Friday the 28th of August. The conference aims to assess progress achieved, and challenges experienced in the implementation of the DOD Gender Mainstreaming Strategy and has adopted the theme "Inspired, and Empowered to advance Gender Equity in the DOD” but Major General Memela-Motumi explained more.
