Today we were joined Instudio by Emily Schuiling, Wiebke Toussaint, Sarah Kiggundu – from Girl Eng, a subsidiary of the South African Women in Engineering. South African Women in Engineering is a non-profit, student-run body, which was founded at the University of Cape Town in 2005. Its mission is to act as an anchor and support base for young female students of all backgrounds and engineering disciplines. Girl-Eng is an extension of SAWomEng. It is aimed at attracting female students in Grade 11 and Grade 12 into engineering. They explained more about their 2009 programme.
