Lupus

We played an interview Cindy Witten had with Dr Brian Sarembock - a Rheumatologist as well as specialist physician operating at the Christian Barnard Memorial hospital in Cape Town. Lupus is an auto immune disorder that attacks the body. This means that the body’s defense system would break down its own tissues, blood cells and organs. Black and Asian women are more likely to get Lupus and they are 8 times more likely to get it than men. For more information about Lupus you can contact (021) 422 2450 alternatively you can visit www.arthritis.org.za.
