In today’s show, we spoke to Heloise Monnet - From the South Africa Education and Environment Project. We spoke about their gap year project. SAEP is an organisation that works with severely under-resourced townships within Cape Town, which consist mostly of families who are recent economic refugees. SAEP runs a Gap Year Project that helps matriculants from these different families and help them by giving them training to either to go study further or gain skills in order to find employment. Heloise will tell us more about their services. For more information contact their offices on (021) 685 3431 or visit www.saep.org
