Today we heard from Zweli Mkhize – From the Khulumani Support Group. The Khulumani Support Group is a national membership -based organisation of victims and survivors of Apartheid human rights violations. The group was started in 1995 by the survivors and families of victims of Apartheid. We also spoke to Fahima Mohammed, Simphiwe Mzayifani and Patrice Kabwe – Peer Educators from Africa Unite. Africa Unite is a community based organisation that promotes human rights and also empowers young adults who comes from different cultural, social and economic backgrounds. They were here to speak to us about their Human Rights Peer Education Project.
