The department initiated a programme that will see 69 young graduates entering the scarce skills job market over the next few months. The programme called Masakh’ iSizwe has provided bursaries for about 640 engineering students, most of them from poor backgrounds, since its launch about two-and-a-half years ago. Dr Luckett explained more about the programme. For more information you can contact the Bursaries Programme Manager at (021) 483 5851 alternatively send him an email to javeeden@pgwc.gov.za
