Our last interview is with Gavin Rain an artist – and his Translation exhibition is starting next week Tuesday 5 February 2008 at 6:00pm.
His new body of work is an investigation into some of the founding ideas behind his art. Going right back to the concepts that began his career, Gavin explores the notions of form and message. Through nudes, portraits and landscapes, Gavin challenges our senses: “when something is right in front of us, we never really notice it” the exhibition closes 12 February 2008 at the VEO gallery at 33 Long Street Cape Town the number to call is 021 423 7069.
