Today we spoke to Anthony Bradnick – from the Golden Pathway Foundation. The Golden Pathway Foundation showcases unique learning opportunities focusing on unemployed, single mothers and refugees by providing information about education, training, skills development, careers and work opportunities. And we also spoke to Martin Fisher – from the department of Social Development. The department has launched an Economic Youth Development Initiative that will focus on building capacity amongst 120 unemployed youth between the ages of 18 and 35 involved in Entrepreneurial or Enterprise development. Our last interview was with Damian Snyders – from MyLife and five young people from the Kaospilot Project. MyLife is a non-profit organisation working cooperatively with abandoned youth as well as underdeveloped and impoverished communities. The project has placed numerous young people into employment opportunities in industries such as film, catering, NGO, construction and car washing. Damian is one of the original Mylife pioneers who assisted with the development of the project and is currently trained in leadership development to help other young people in achieving greater things in life.
