Nigel Vermaas also joined us for arts update in and around the city. Nigel will be a regular on Fridays doing Arts update on Sakhisizwe at 1:10PM. Tonight he is going to see Kurt Schoonraad in SPIDERS & MAYONNAISE at On Broadway and will tell us more about it next week Friday.

And we also spoke to Cecil Whiteman – from the Noordhoek Environmental Action Group. This is a Non Governmental Organisation focused on environmental issues in the greater Noordhoek area. They have initiated an “adopt-a-plot” scheme where anyone can choose a specific plot of local land and maintain it clear of invasive plants. If you more information about the organisation you can contact Cecil at (021) 789 2010 or visit neag.org.za
