Today we spoke to Martin Jansen – Workers World Media Production Director. Workers world will be hosting the second annual Labour Film Festival. The festival runs from the 18th to the 20th of April at the community house in Salt River. Entry is free, remember to book the tickets prior the event. And we also had an interview with Alice Hopley – Administrator at Act of Grace. Act of Grace is a non-profit organisation in Athlone. They will be offering a free entrepreneurial training course for young people to accelerate young business ideas. Our last interview was with Dominique Swartz – from the Food and Allied Workers Union. FAWU members employed by Blue Ribbon bakeries have embarked on a strike until their demands are met. FAWU is also mobilizing its members and COSATU affiliates to engage in a consumer boycott of Premier products.
