We also spoke to Moefeeda Kagee - Trainer and Child Witness coordinator from the Resources Aimed at the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect better known as RAPCAN. Child abuse is on the increase because we always hear those horrible stories of child pornography and rape. Children are usually afraid to testify in court because they don’t know what is expected of them. RAPCAN has set up a Child Witness Project to help children who have to testify in court. If you want more information about the organisation you can contact their offices at (021) 712 2330 or email them at info@rapcan.org.za alternatively you can visit their website at www.rapcan.org.za
