Today we spoke to Cheryl Beaton – From Woodside Special Care Centre and Shafiek Rajap – from the Eoan Group School of the Performing Arts. Woodside Special Care Centre is a home for profoundly intellectually and physically disabled children and young adults. The school has been chosen as the beneficiary of the 2nd annual benefit concert which is presented by The Eoan Group School of the Performing Arts. The “We live to serve” benefit concert takes place tonight and tomorrow at the Joseph Stone Auditorium at 8pm. Tickets costs R40 per person per night. The p roject consists of a group of talented performing artist who has achieved recognition in different arts disciplines. The group’s repertoire combines song and dance from a variety of Southern African Cultures, accompanied by marimba, drums & percussion. For more info
