We also spoke to Ntsiki Mlotywa – Section Head of Skill Development from the City of Cape Town. The city of Cape Town launched a pilot project 18 months ago that provided a group of about 144 unemployed people in Nyanga with self-supporting skills. The Nyanga job centre forms part of the city’s skills development efforts to equip school-leavers with skills.
