Founded in Germany in 1991 by Dr Peter Harf, DKMS and the organisation of over 1,000 employees have since relentlessly pursued the aim of giving as many patients as possible a second chance at life. With over 11 million registered donors, DKMS has succeeded in doing this 100,000 times to date by providing blood stem cell donations to those in need.  This accomplishment has led to DKMS becoming the global leader in the facilitation of unrelated blood stem cell transplants. Asthmas is a condition in which a person's airways become inflamed, narrow and swell and produce extra mucus, which makes it difficult to breathe. It can be minor or it can interfere with daily activities in some cases, it may lead to a life-threatening attack. Asthma may cause difficulty breathing, chest pain, cough and wheezing. Symptoms may sometimes flare up. Asthma can usually be managed with rescue inhalers to treat symptoms and controller inhalers that prevent symptoms. Severe cases may require longer-acting inhalers that keep the airways open, as well as oral steroids. The NAEP is a non-profit organization that aims to disseminate impartial information about asthma diagnosis and treatment to health professionals and the South African public. Sex and Relationships Talking about sex maybe awkward. It maybe awkward because sex is taboo to talk about in a lot of cultures. People have shame around bodies and sexuality, so talking openly about sex and relationships may bring up feelings of awkwardness. It remains disproportionally stigmatized.  Sexual communication involves a degree of risk. By revealing your sexual wants and desires to your partner can be scary, especially when your partner's reaction is not positive to sex talk, you can become vulnerable to judgement, criticism or sometimes rejection. There is also fear of hurting each other's feelings. That is why we have have organisations such as SHOUT-IT-NOW. An organization that empowers the youth to have bold conversations about sex and relationships.
