Employees Wellness Week

Employee wellness is all about activities and programs that improve employee health and well-being. Prioritizing employee well-being is the main way an employer can help employees manage stress, build relationships, improve productivity, and reduce burnout.

Employee Wellness Week, is an annual national health event designed to bring awareness of the importance of maintaining the health and wellbeing of employees in the workplace and within their home environment. The Heart and Stroke Foundation South Africa (HSFSA) uses this week to highlight the importance of heart and brain health, as well as the associated risk factors given that CVD has a very high burden of disease in SA.

From the 3rd- 7th  of July, is known as Employees Wellness Week and speaking to us about the importance of this week is Nutrition Science Team Leader and registered dietician form the Heart and Stroke Foundation South Africa Hayley Cimring.
