An artist cannot always please people everybody
Trevonne Jansen known as TheJuice, currently studying at Cape Audio College. Music
ran through his blood at a very young age. He wasn’t very seriously about
taking his music seriously until three years ago.
He says he has also had a passion to produce his own
music, but never really had the right tools, but at a later stage he figured
out that it was easy to record yourself. Ever since he keeps on pushing
himself and believes his music is getting better and better. His interest for
music all started at church where the band performed. He says his genre of
music is versatile.
Today recently released a new song called “Baby’boo”. To find
the song you can visit 'SoundCloud' 'TheJuice'
The music that he produces is just him expressing himself
when he goes through things, and in the studio that’s where he normally opens himself
up.
He also says that an artist cannot always please people everybody who listen’s, because it’s impossible to please everybody. He says at first he couldn’t deal with criticism, and always wondered why doesn’t some people like his songs and later realized that everybody is entitled to their own opinion. When people criticize him now he just says ‘Thank You’ and moves on.
He sees himself as a person that doesn’t take long to do things and always wants to do it first.

He also told us about a story, when he did his first Live Show
at school for Valentine’s Day, and started rapping and people couldn’t really
make out what he was saying, but there was one verse that caught a trend and
the verse was just “yayayaya”, so ever since then he built his reputation.
"Lyrical content is where i pride himself, because it’s very important, as my mind is a notebook because i never writes lyrics on paper". He also mentions that if he was not to pursue Music he would have studied Law but, the music industry just had a hold of him and couldn’t let it go.
On his journey to where he is today he had to let go of certain people in his life that was holding him back musically and mentally, and cut off bad things, back comments and good times.

He also adds in the next five years he wants to be seated in the same
seat being interviewed on Bush Radio speaking about the past five years. He
says it’s very important to please yourself first before anyone else, and do something
you love so you will never feel like you working a day.
He is very grateful that his parents are still supporting
him financially also as well as his music.
