SADC Gender Protocol Alliance wants gender equality by 2015

We closed off with Lucia Makamure – Alliance Officer at the SADC Gender Protocol Alliance. The Southern Africa Gender Protocol Alliance is a network of networks that campaigned for the adoption, and now the implementation of the SADC Protocol on Gender and Development. The SADC Gender and Development Protocol contains 28 targets for achieving gender equality and the improvement of women’s lives in various areas in southern Africa by 2015.
