Enrico Robinson - Project manager for Tygerberg Service Centre joined us on the line to tell
us more about the essential care they provide and their cook off tomorrow. The Tygerberg Service Centre for the Aged and Meals on Wheels was established at 30 Weimar Street in Parow in 1969. Since 1994 the Service Centre extended its services to the broader community according to growing needs. The centre also renders a mobile clinic ‘Health on
Wheels’ service that treats about 4362 patients in formerly disadvantaged
communities. They will be hosting a cook off tomorrow Wednesday August 7th which
will involve volunteers preparing hot meals for the destitute in Bellville
South, Kalkfontein, Parow and Durbanville. For further information you can
contact Tygerberg Service Centre on (021) 939 4043 or send an email to michelle@mealsonwheels.co.za or enrico@mealsonwheels.co.za
