Commission for Gender Equality celebrates Women’s Month

Leonard Macakathi - Public Education and Information Officer of the Commission for Gender Equality in the Western Cape was Instudio to tell us more about their month long events during August. The Commission for Gender Equality in the Western Cape is hosting a month long of events during August as it is Women’s Month. Events across the province will include information on their mandate, Human Rights lectures with HTL on Gender Rights, Distribution of educational material at Thusong Centres, Social Dialogue with Department of Community Safety, CGE and LGBTI groups and concluding with a Dialogue on Women on Economic Empowerment.
