Abba introduces intervention plan in cases of crisis pregnancy

Elzeth Conradie - Social Worker at Abba was Instudio to tell us more about their concern regarding the re-occurring child abandonment in our society. Abba is a Child Protection Organisation, specialising in Adoption and Social Services based in Bellville and serving all communities in the Western Cape. In light of recent child abandonment cases within our communities Abba is confident that they can help reduce the rate at which this is occurring by empowering society with knowledge through their awareness campaigns facilitated in collaboration with community organisations, where they inform members about other alternatives to abandonment. Abba have introduced their intervention plan in cases of crisis pregnancy that sometimes leads to child abandonment because often birthmothers just need someone to talk to who can give them sound advice in their time of need.
