Labour - SASFU concerned over the employment of a foreign submariner

On Sakhisizwe today, we heard from Bheki Mvovo - President of the South African Security Forces Union. We were talking about their concern regarding the employment of foreigners into the South African National Defence Force (SANDF). The South African Security Forces Union has expressed its shock by the employment of a Congolese into the ranks of the SANDF to serve in the elite Submarine flotilla of the SA Navy. SASFU believes the employment of foreigners into SANDF is a threat to National Security as this has the potential to allow infiltrating foreigners to advance into the leadership of the SANDF and might even lead to a coup d' Etat against the democratically elected government of South Africa. But the SANDF issued a statement that during the administration process, it was discovered that the person in question was not a South African citizen and was being withdrawn from the SANDF.
