in Africa or WIDA. WIDA aims to
collectively bring African women in business and various stakeholders together
by providing a ‘central connection resource’ to enable these interactions,
which in turn allows policy and decision makers to reach deliberate measures
that will facilitate correcting and balancing the inequitable distribution of
wealth and opportunities of the past. It envisions ensuring that women
emerge as leaders in this growing field that previously ostracized women. For
