Gender - WOMAN ZONE is looking for 13 phenomenal women

On the show today, we spoke to Nancy Richards – Co-Founder of the WOMAN ZONE - an initiative born to unite women from all of the Mother City's communities. We were talking about the 13 women call. To launch the WOMAN ZONE project they are looking for a collection of women, each one from a different Cape Town community to tell her unique story. The stories will be recorded for the WOMAN ZONE archive. You can nominate one or more women from your community who you feel has a strong story to tell and would be able to tell it well. She doesn't have to be a 'survivor', a 'celebrity' or a 'financial success' – she could be any or none of those – what is important is that she has inspired you for whatever reason. The closing date for nominations is the 29th of June 2013. For more information send an email to nancyrichards@intekom.co.za alternatively check www.facebook.com/Womanzonect
