Johns Hopkins Health and Education in SA launches ZAZI campaign

We were joined by Bronwyn Pearce - Deputy Director of Johns Hopkins Health and Education in South Africa to tell us more about the ZAZI campaign. The campaign encourages women and girls to draw on their inner strength, power, and self-confidence to know themselves and what they stand for in order to guide their decisions about their future. A new campaign calling on South African women and girls to Zazi (Know yourself) was recently launched under the leadership of the South African National AIDS Council (SANAC) Women’s Sector, with support from the USAID/JHU HIV Communication programme and PEPFAR in partnership with the Department of Women, Children and People with Disabilities, the Department of Health and the Department of Social Development.
