Cape Town Refugee Centre to host a Human rights education dialogue

We closed off with an interview with Christina Henda - Director of Cape Town Refugee Centre and Shingai Maphosa - Human Rights coordinator for Africa Unite. They were speaking to us about the Human Rights workshop that they hosted last month and the upcoming dialogue on the importance of Human rights education. The workshop touched on the importance of Human rights education, Human Rights principle, Bill of rights (South African constitution), Categories of Human Rights, South African mandate towards the protection of Human Rights, Vulnerable groups (Women, children, elderly, people with disabilities and refugees), Sex and gender and Children’s rights. A dialogue is scheduled for October 26 as a follow up to the workshop.
