Thando, Putso, Shaheen & Nancy
In today's show, we heard from Nancy Mina - Project Manager for the Capaciti1000 programme, Thando Sipuye - Media, Marketing and Events assistant for Cape IT Initiative and Putso Shuping & Shaheen Khatieb - former interns to tell us more about their recruitment for Business Analyst internship opportunity. They are recruiting for the Business Analysis and Systems Analysis Programme which is a Part-Time NQF Level 8 Post-Graduate Diploma at UCT (Information Systems Department) with Internship and an associated Intern Support Programme for next year. This 12 month programme will be expanded in 2012-2014 to up to 80 or more interns at host companies in insurance, retail, IT and government. The Cape IT Initiative was established in 1998 as a non-profit organization to develop and support the ICT industry in the Western Cape and since then expanded its focus in 2010 to support the ICT-related skills needs of all ICT-enabled industries as well (particularly financial services and retail).
