Catch Azishe! Jazzart Dance Theatre Festival at Artscape

Jackie Manyaapelo - Jazzart Artistic director was here to tell us about Azishe! Jazzart Dance Theatre Festival. Jazzart Dance Theatre’s popular Danscape has been rebranded as Azishe! in 2012. Translated from isiZulu “azishe” means “let it burn”, the festival name is inspired by the energy, passion and hunger to succeed that its young participants have brought to the Danscape festival stage since 1999. It will be taking place from the 5th  till the 8th of July at the Artscape Theatre. Child Protection Week is an annual observance dedicated to raising awareness about the rights and well-being of children.
