We closed off with an interview with Bulelwa Ntlantlu - actress, dancer, poet, rapper and singer. We were talking about Hip Hop Kaslam happening tomorrow night at the Baxter Theatre Concert Hall. Hip Hop Kaslam returns for the fourth time at the Baxter to showcase spaza, street slang and township lifestyle. Keeping to the theme of Women’s Month and celebrating women pursuing a career in hip hop, Hip Hop Kaslam will feature a majority female cast like Tia, Bulelwa and Unathi. The Baxter Theatre will provide buses to transport audience members to and from the show at no extra cost. The pick-up and drop-off points are the Gugulethu Sports Complex and Radio Zibonele in Khayelitsha, leaving for the theatre at 3:30pm, and Delft Parking lot (opposite SPAR) and Crossroads Circle, leaving for the theatre at 4pm. Ticket prices are just R30 and booking is through Computicket on 083 915 8000, online at www.computicket.co.za or at any Shoprite or Checkers.
