In today’s show, we heard from Michael Blake - Researcher and education officer at the International Labour Research and Information Group or ILRIG. Later today ILRIG will be hosting a public forum on Nationalisation. What does it mean? Should we be fighting for it and why is it being debated now? The latest call for nationalisation of mines by ANC Youth League President Julius Malema has sparked a heated debate with others warning that such a move would result in the collapse of South Africa’s economy. The public forum will start from 6:00PM at the Salt River Community House at number 41 Salt River Road in Salt River. Speakers will be Michael Blake and Luthando Nogcinisa from Nehawu. They say snacks and transport home will be provided. For more information contact their office on (021) 447 6375 or visit www.ilrig.org
