In today's show, we spoke to Gerry Gordon – from Mothers Unite. Mothers Unite was started by Carol Jacobs who realized that children in her neighbourhood were not receiving a minimum of one meal a day. Their vision is to uplift the situation for children and families in the Lavender Hill area by focusing on inclusivity and participation through a number of different projects. They would appreciate financial assistance and volunteers to help out with their various projects. For more information visit www.mothersunite.org.za or send an email to gerry@mothersunite.org.za alternatively call 082 825 0511.
