SAPS Women’s Network launches Winter Warmth Campaign

We were also joined by Brigadier Sharon Govender – Chairperson of the Western Cape SAPS Women’s Network. According to Brigadier Govender, the role of the Women’s Network in the SAPS "is a platform that drives" awareness programmes, addresses poverty alleviation and the wellness of police members in the workplace. Two weeks ago, the Network launched their Winter Warmth Campaign which is envisaged to be sustained for a period of 3 years. Brigadier Govender explained more about the campaign.
