19 November - Labour - The DTI is awarding bursaries for 2010 Academic Year

On Sakhisizwe today, we spoke to Norman Hlungwani – from the Department of Trade and Industry. The Department of Trade and Industry is awarding comprehensive bursaries during 2010 Academic year to qualifying applicants pursuing or intending to further their studies in scare skills fields aligned to the mandate of the dti. Mr Hlungwani explained more on the requirements. Among the requirements, applicants must be South African youth and they must show proof of admission to a higher education institution where the applied filed of study is offered. Child Protection Week is an annual observance dedicated to raising awareness about the rights and well-being of children. It typically includes a series of events, campaigns, and activities aimed at promoting child safety, preventing abuse, and advocating for policies and practices that support children's healthy development.  Molo Songololo is a registered non-profit organization that promotes the rights and protection of children and youth, and especially girls. Their work aligns with the goals of Child Protection Week, focusing on advocacy, education, and empowerment to create a safer and more inclusive environment for children.
