Melanie's debut solo exhibition, titled The Hero Within

We were also joined Instudio by Melanie Cleary – A photographer. We were talking about her debut solo exhibition, titled The Hero Within that is opening tomorrow the 5th till the 26th of September at the Photographers Gallery in Shortmarket St opp On Broadway. Cleary’s exhibition is to offer the viewer a glimpse into the world of bodybuilding. She spent the past three years following and photographing natural bodybuilding competitions in and around the Cape Peninsula. Cleary has plans to attend the World Championship, scheduled to take place in Cape Town later this year, to extend her series.
