Quality Council for Trades and Occupations Workshop

We closed off the show with an interview with Bobbie Fitchen – from Eclipse Skillmatters. Eclipse Skillmatters will be offering the Quality Council for Trades and Occupations or QCTO workshop next week Friday. The workshop will explain in detail the structure and functions of the QCTO, as well as how the council will affect the lives of employers, practitioners and providers. The workshop is opened to Employers, Skills Development Practitioners and Training Providers. It will be held at the Townhouse Hotel in Cape Town on the 10th of July, from 08h30 - 16h30PM and costs about R2,100.00 per delegate and lunch & parking is provided. In May we recognize Child Protection Week!

Child Protection Week is an annual observance dedicated to raising awareness about the rights and well-being of children. It typically includes a series of events, campaigns, and activities aimed at promoting child safety, preventing abuse, and advocating for policies and practices that support children's healthy development.  Molo Songololo is a registered non-profit organization that promotes the rights and protection of children and youth, and especially girls. Their work aligns with the goals of Child Protection Week, focusing on advocacy, education, and empowerment to create a safer and more inclusive environment for children.
