In today’s show we spoke to Dr Sarah Riordan - An Industrial Psychologist and Academic with over 25 years' experience in human resource development. As more and more women take up management and leadership positions, there is an increasing need among them for empowerment and skills to make a success of their new roles and careers. To address this need the University Of Stellenbosch Business School Executive Development Ltd and Dr Riordan presented Conscious Career Strategies for Women in May this year. This strategic workshop was aimed at making women more aware of issues affecting their careers. She explained more about the workshop. In May we recognize Child Protection Week!

Child Protection Week is an annual observance dedicated to raising awareness about the rights and well-being of children. It typically includes a series of events, campaigns, and activities aimed at promoting child safety, preventing abuse, and advocating for policies and practices that support children's healthy development.  Molo Songololo is a registered non-profit organization that promotes the rights and protection of children and youth, and especially girls. Their work aligns with the goals of Child Protection Week, focusing on advocacy, education, and empowerment to create a safer and more inclusive environment for children.
