On today’s show, we spoke to from Anna Turley – Information’s Manager for the Association for Women's Rights in Development or AWID. This is an international, multi-generational, feminist, creative, future-orientated membership organization committed to achieving gender equality, sustainable development and women's human rights. Last year they hosted over 1,500 women's rights leaders and activists from around the world here in Cape Town for their forum titled “Power of Movements”. Our last interview was with Colleen Aspeling – from the Gender Social Transformation Education. This is an organisation that creates a way for women to take responsibility for their own lives.
