20 December - Labour
In today’s show, we spoke to Advocate Lynette Myburgh – from Work-in-Solutions and Equity. She specializes on litigation, mediation and labour related matters. We were talking about Salary and Bonus disputes. This time of the year there seems to be an up rise of workers who engage in salary and bonus disputes with their employers. Bonus pay means money over and above the wages of the employees which is paid by the employers. The law does not say that an employers must pay a bonus to workers this is only seen as extra money. This is usually aid at the end of the year for good performance rendered during the year or for targets reached in production of goods. For more information you can contact their offices at (021) 021 465 3500 or visit www.workinsolutions.co.za
