18 December – Human Rights
Today on Sakhisizwe we had an interview with Alfred Lose a Senior Investigator at the Public Protector who told us what the Public Protector is about and what it has to offer to people within our communities. The Public Protector was established in order to investigate matters and also to protect the public against matters such as maladministration when it comes to the affairs of government, the improper conduct by a person performing a public function, improper act with regards to public money, unlawful enrichment of a person performing a public function.
