We also spoke to Roy Abbet – from the South African Guide-Dog Association for the Blind. Their mission is to enhance the mobility, independence and dignity of blind and partially sighted people and also advocate the recognition and protection of the rights of all persons with disabilities. Child Protection Week is an annual observance dedicated to raising awareness about the rights and well-being of children. Their work aligns with the goals of Child Protection Week, focusing on advocacy, education, and empowerment to create a safer and more inclusive environment for children.
