17 April - Human Rights - Conscious Conversations asks "Is UCT Racist?"

On Sakhisizwe today, we were joined by Mpumi Tshabalala of Conscious Conversations. She joined us to talk about their third Annual Open Forum that they are hosting tomorrow evening at UCT's Hiddingh Hall. This year they asking the question "Is UCT Racist?" This follows the heated debate on twitter #CapeTownIsRacist by taking the comments and applying it to the context of UCT. People are encouraged to come listen, to share experiences and to continue the conversation on race. The event takes place from 17:30pm for 18:00pm to 21:00pm. Refreshments will be served and guests are encouraged to arrive early because seats are limited.
