Nigel Vermaas was also in today for the Arts update in and around the city. He won't be coming in next Friday because it's Easter but will be joining us on the 28th to tell us more about the Cape Town Jazz Festival, happening in few weeks time.
We closed off the show with an interview with Councillor Demetri Qually. We were talking about the Dumping at Solo Street Public Sports Field in Retreat. Councillor Qually recently held an on_site inspection and promised residents that he would arrange for a system that will prevent dumping to be put in place. For residents who want to get involved in keeping the area clean or if you witness any illegal dumping please contact Alderman Morkel on (021) 701 9963 or 084 224 0100.
