In today’s show we spoke to Commissioner Yvette Abrahams – From the Commission on Gender Equality. The Commission will host a press conference in order to give a response on the tabling of the report of the Parliamentary Ad Hoc Committee on the Review of the Chapter 9 and Associated institutions. We closed off the show with an interview with Christina Phika – Founder of Mama Africa. Mama Afrika Ithemba does a lot of outreach in their surrounding communities and prison. Mama Afrika Ithemba not only teaches women skills on how to bake or sew but they also learn how to become more self-sufficient by selling what they make.
