Western Cape Health Department. We were talking about the importance of STI /Condom Month. February is STI /Condom Month. This
initiative was launched in February 2004 by the Department of Health under the
leadership of the late Manto Tshabala–Msimang to bring to light the importance
of safe sexual practices through the use of condoms and particularly
emphasizing the responsibility in preventing the transmission of STIs and
